I have fantastic news- I was invited to speak at Fashion Camp NYC this week! The camp seems like a great place for aspiring fashionistas, like many of you reading this and myself, to network and learn more about various facets of the industry. I'll be part of the Web Fashion Fest, and you'll be able to watch me speak to the campers live online via the Fashion Camp NYC website. You'll also be able to view all of the other speakers and have access to the rest of the website, including a chat room where you can ask questions and connect with others with similar interests. my camp wasn't exactly focused on fashion...
Poke around the website for a little- you can see the weeks curriculum and the camp's blog! It's truly so cool that this is available for high schoolers...I sure would have adored this type of opportunity. I'm really looking forward to meeting the campers, and sharing the short journey I've been on so far. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to mention!
