One of the best things about the fashion blogosphere is the coverage and exposure the shockingly talented and up-and-coming independent designers, deservingly, get. I was just contacted by Evil Needles, and I really like some of the pieces. Patricia Valery started out reconstructing band t-shirts (most creatively, I'm sure). She was born in the US, but lived in South America for most of her life, where she gets much of her inspiration from. She does everything for the line, from the pattern to the custom-made items in your hands. Everything is priced reasonably--nothing you see is more than $120! Keep a look out for Evil Needles!
