binge and purge

Now that I've become so much more aware of reducing, reusing, and recycling, I see a new spin on many companies, and I've been doing even more research on the topics I post about. Once I heard about Style Folio, I just thought, "Oh, nice, another pretty jewelry website. I could do a feature on this, they have quite beautiful pieces..." and then,"Oh, wait, what is Splurge to Purge? That sounds interesting..." And then I began to learn about the wonderful program being run by Style Folio. This is how it works: you send them a few wearable and in-good-condition pieces of jewelry that you are tired of or just want to give away. They take those pieces and create sets, and then send them to women in need of a self-esteem boost or help finding a job but without the proper attire to look presentable. It's such a kind and not usually thought of gesture, and I commend Style Folio's Yvette for creating and following through with the program. For incentive, each piece of jewelry is equal to a 5% discount off for a new piece from Style Folio.
